It was incredible timing, and I'm happy to report that the frozen oocyte (which was frozen in July of 2019, exactly a year ago) was successfully fertilized at the same time as the egg retrieved from my cycle this month, saving me thousands of dollars had this disposition been delayed even hours later. We have yet to hear whether the embryo from the egg makes it to Day 5 and genetic testing, but so far at Day 3, it is an 8-cell embryo and looking good!
